2019 Janice Norwesh Palace Open

The Palace Theatre is proud to announce the 2019 Janice Norwesh Palace Open Men’s and Women’s Doubles Tennis Tournament on Friday, September 27, 2019. Come with your favorite partner! The tournament will be Division A and B.

No matter what your level, come have some fun! We have 16 courts reserved, 8 indoor and 8 outdoor clay courts at Longfellow New Hampshire Tennis & Swim Club, located at 140 Lock Street Nashua, NH.

Check-in is 8:30am at Longfellow and the tournament will begin at 9:00am and will be completed by the end of day. There will be time and court availability for consolation rounds. Lunch, snacks and prizes will be provided.

The entry fee is $75 per person, which includes entry to the tournament, lunch AND one voucher for the Palace Theatre’s 2019-2020 Citizens Bank Performing Arts Series. ($46 value)

At checkout, you will have an option to donate to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalitionin addition to your entry fee. After paying the entry fee, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to tournament details that must be filled out. (ie: partner info & levels)

Tournament entry deadline is September 20, 2019.

All of the proceeds benefit the historic Palace Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire, which includes our professional shows as well as our many engaging youth programs.

No partner? No problem! If you do not have a partner, we will help with a pairing!

In loving memory of Janice Norwesh

Janice Norwesh was the Director of Women’s Teams at Longfellow NH Tennis & Swim Club and coached the boys’ tennis team at Londonderry High School. Janice’s love of the sport, physical strength and determination made her the perfect coach and tennis professional. She was known for her sharp wit, sense of humor, strong character, and empathetic nature. After a 3 year battle, Janice lost her fight with ovarian cancer in April of 2019.
