The Palace Youth Theatre presents our newest program
PYT “ARTS” PROJECT
at the Franco American Centre
The mission of PYT “ARTS” Project is to offer a focused educational experience to Palace Youth by breaking down the disciplines of singing, dancing and acting.
- PYT SINGS - Concert series. This program focuses on the art of the song. Participants will learn to find their own voice and personal style while working on songs that showcase them as an individual performer. Themes will vary. The semester will lead up to a final performance in a relaxed cabaret setting.
Enrollment- 20 students
Fee- $65.00
10 Rehearsals/ 1 Tech/ 2 Performances
Semester 1- TEEN March 6th - April 9th
Semester 2- YOUTH March 25th - April 30th
Semester 3- TEEN April 14th - May 21st
Semester 4- YOUTH May 5th - June 11th
- PYT DANCE- Dance series. This program focuses on the art of movement and dance. Choreography will range from a variety of themes and provide for multiple skill levels. The semester will lead up to a final dance performance.

Semester 1- TEEN March 3rd – April 16th
Semester 2- YOUTH March 26th – May 6th
Semester 3- TEEN April 17th – May 28th
Semester 4- YOUTH May 8th – June 18th
- PYT DRAMA- Acting series. This program focuses on the art of acting. Don’t sing? Don’t dance? GREAT! This educational series explores scene study and acting games. The semester will lead up to a final performance of scenes and one act plays.

Semester 2- YOUTH March 28th – May 21st

***TEEN= ages 13-18 YOUTH = ages 8-12
SHOWS: Located at the Franco American Centre beginning April 8th through June 25th. Length: 60 min. plus intermission.

Palace Youth and Teen Theatre:
The Palace Youth Theatre is one of the largest youth performing companies in the area and is growing every day. With opportunities for both youth (ages 8 - 12) and teenagers (ages 13 - 18) the Palace Youth Theatre offers programs for actors of all levels with varying levels of commitment. ages 13 - 18 - The Palace Teen Company - auditions open to actors ages 13 - 18
- The Palace Teen Apprentice Company - auditions open to actors
ages 13 - 18 - Vacation Camps (1 week camps during February and April vacations)
- Open to students in grades 2 - 8 - Summer Camp (4 sessions of 2 week camps running July - August)
- Open to students in grades 2 - 8 - Youth and Teen Workshops given throughout the season
