What could be better than spending a week this summer staying overnight on a college campus and spending your days dancing, singing, and acting? For a true theatre enthusiast, things don’t get better than that!
Receive intensive training by Broadway and industry professionals in a 7 day overnight theatre camp that focuses on the three components of musical theatre - acting, singing, and dancing. COLLEGE CREDIT is granted upon completion of this 1 week camp!
The Palace Theatre is proud to partner with Chester College of New England to present this premier Musical Theatre Intensive. This pre-professional program focuses on the essence of the “triple threat." Under the guidance of industry professionals, students will take daily classes in voice, acting, dance, audition technique, vocal performance, scene study and more! Students will have the honor of meeting one Broadway or industry SPECIAL GUEST during their stay. This guest will provide an intensive specialty workshop. Evenings will include special events, trips to professional shows and rehearsals. Students will also enjoy supervised, recreational use of the college campus. The week will end with a showcase performance onstage at the historic Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH.

Airport transportation is available to and from Manchester Airport for $30 each way.
CLASSES
All classes are taught by industry professionals. At the end of the week, campers will have the opportunity to perform on the historic Palace Theatre stage, home to Broadway professionals and performing legends from all over the world!
ACTING- Classes include Scene Study, Improvisation, Theatre Games, Intro to Acting methods (Stella Adler, Stanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Brecht, Stanislavsky, and Suzuki), The Business of Acting and more!
VOICE- Classes include Vocal Technique, Song Performance, Musical Scene Study and Audition Technique: How to choose the best song for you. How to select the best 16 bars and much more!
DANCE- Levels will vary from beginner – advanced. Classes will encompass all styles of Broadway Musical Theatre Dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap!
*Please note that in-camp placement auditions will be held the first day of camp to assure that the level of achievement is high and students can work at a comfortable level. Students should prepare a brief song of their choice and be prepared to dance.
CAMP LIFE
The Palace Professional Musical Theatre Camp welcomes students from across the nation and around the world!
All camp counselors are industry professionals who are over 21. Counselors are carefully selected with close attention paid to their love for teaching theatre! The ratio is 1 or more counselors per 10 students to assure proper supervision and positive influence. Campers are encouraged to be the best they can be all while having fun. The friendships and bonds they create while sharing common creative interests may last a lifetime!
